Well, I went to see Corpse Bride Saturday night, and I have to admit, I was somewhat disappointed, The Nightmare Before Christmas(even though it's 13 years old) was far superior. Don't get me wrong, if you liked The Nightmare Before Christmas, then this is a must see, I loved the movie, I just wish it had been longer :(

    Anyone else see it yet?

*Note: I don't want any of you people coming in here and bitching about the movie, this is a civilized thread ;)

It looks like a kiddy movie. I don't watch kiddy movies in the first place.

My dad enjoyed it, it's just clay animation, not really kiddy, I definitely recommend it, it's not like it's that much of your life wasted if you don't like it ;)

I saw it as my first movie in a chain of moviehopping.

It really was meh. Just like Charlie was.

like.. the whole film was mildly stirring, there were no slow points, and there were no really notable points either.

I didn't say it sucked, I just said compared to The Nightmare Before Christmas it wasn't as good, it was a wonderful movie, great story line, great clay animation, and as usual, great music ^_^

Tim Burton makes pretty good movies, though people haven't been giving great feed-back on the corpse bride. \=

The review my dad read gave it a great rating, don't remember where the review was, magazine or something...doesn't matter to me, critics rarely agree with me :)

you'd have to really like these types of movie in order to enjoy them. If ur indifferent, you'll probably hate them. Probably going to go see it soon, I hope its not that bad.
