im curious why the GR community callse this rendering. last time i checked that was called cropping an image. rendering is when you create your own image, not cut out someone elses. the actual model is called a render yes, but when you cut it out you cant just call that rendering. i had this argument with some friends and i figured id post it her. have fun
The whole point of this place is to have the renders cut out. They are still renders weither they have been croped out of another image or not. Correct?
yea i know but people call it "rendering", where as the real term rendering is creating the model or "render." when people say, "Hey can you render this render for me" it sounds so dumb because u cant render a render. in all actuality it should be called cropping a render or cutting out a render.

Its called cross-platform terms. Rendering in 3d modeling often means showing your work in a 3d dimensional screenshot(JPG, etc). You will find similar terms in many areas throughout your life. I can think of 10 to 15 similarities, just between coding, IPB, GameRenders(graphics), and 3d communities/modeling.
Uhm, does it matter? Its just like, if they were called something like GameStocks.com then people would say 'can someone stock this for me'. Its just a word.
its just a word we use here for an image cut out it could have been called a multitude of things...crop, img, anything but its called a render
