I find a lot of people have beening "reserving" spots in the SOTW entry thread and I find it completely pointless. I mean, can someone explain to me the thinking in this? First off, it doesn't matter what number post you are, all sigs are looked at by the judges. Secondly, even if you reserve a spot so that you can post later, it still is basically like posting again because you just have to edit it. If there is some real, understandable reason why people do this, please inform me...

Yeah, it's pretty pointless to go and reserve your spot when in reality it doesn't matter, plus, it gets annoying when you want to search through N3's only to find "This Spot is Reserved" ten times for every one N3

I noticed it as well, new rule added in the SOTW rules.#13 is the one that pertains to this thread.

Before entering the Sig of the Week competition, take a few minutes to read the rules below:

    1. Pay attention to when the SOTW ends - we can't accept any more submissions after the Entires thread is closed.

    2. Competitions will be judged by me or someone else that I elect. Note that people entering the competition cannot be judges!

    3. Each week will have a seperate theme to what sigs should be made. Obviously sigs entered that have the wrong theme won't win.

    4. The prize for the SOTW will be announced in the enteries topic.

    5. You can only enter one sig. If you wish to change the sig you are entering then please edit your post with the new one replacing the old one.

    6. Animation is optional, but feel free to use it.

    7. Every sig must contain your gamerenders username, this is to prevent ripping.

    8. You must have a minimum of 200 posts to enter SOTW

    9. The judges word is always final.

    10. No Nudity, this isn't a porn site

    11. No 'spam' posting in the sotw enteries thread, this means posts without enteries on. i.e. "wow thats an awesome sig"

    12. Only entrees that are uploaded as an attachment will be considered.

    13. You may not reserve a spot in the entry thread. If you post in the SOTW entry thread without attaching a sig (edits do not count either) you will be warned, fined 50 credits and you will be automatically disqualified from that weeks competition.

Breaking any of these rules will disqualify you from the SOTW that you entered

    Thank you.

Just because they wanted their sig to be viewed first most likely. Stupid reason honestly but oh well. They can't do it anymore.
