Can Anyone Find Me A Motherboard, Cpu, And Videoca

    Can anyone find me a motherboard, cpu, and videocard that has a socket 478 the motherboard PCI Express x16 under $350

    I dont think that will work ^

    The processor your chose is Socket 939

    and so is the Motherboard.

    If i read correctly i think he's lookin for Socket 478

    Why go with 478 when 939 is better and more upgrade-able.

    Newegg is usually cheaper than frys. I use newegg because its a 40 minute drive to frys and they are about the same(Newegg being the cheaper).

    unless your getting like at least the 6800gt than dont get pcie, stick with 8x. and that cpu will bottleneck your gfx card.

    socket 478 hasn't been in mainstreme use for a long time. Sorry, but unless you want an outdated computer you should get a newer socket, it shouldn't really cost any more. see masters post above, he has it down.

    WRONG

    You don't know what you are talking about.

    PCI-E doesn't bottle neck because its PCI-E, its because you can't move things in and out of the bus fast enough, that happens at high resolutions, and high quality setting where the data packets are much bigger.
