I wouldnt bother getting a 3800, if you must get better get a 3700+. Because just a plain 6600 will not perform well so you would be better spending a little less on a processor and getting a 6600GT. Also he would be better just getting a single 80GB harddrive rather than x2 40GB might even be a bit cheaper. You would also be better off buying a cheap say $30 case and then get an Epower Puma II powersupply. and Epic.09 his budget doesnt allow for an x2 processor.
Allright... Since I been hearing that ALL computer parts are gonna be goin down in a year or so, I think this christmas I'll just get the Xbox 360 and in the mean time..I'll be learnin a bit more about computer hardware. Thanks for a ll the help guys.
probably the smart thing to do, if you don't know the pros and cons of a part, you shouldn't be buying it. I personally am saving up for an Athlon 4400+. as diablo, it's not just these parts that will go down in a year, it would be EVERY part. ever notice how the computers in 1997 cost $3000 and you got the following pro 133mhz; 64mb of EDO ram; DVD drive(2x);6gig HD;8mb graphics;125W PSU;2USB ports. as I said, price have gone down a bit in the last few years or so.
I'll see what I can do..unless I get like a 2.8 Ghz processor for now and next year, I'll have a job so I can save money for a new processor and I'll put my current on Ebay Btw, I cant make my website templates with my computer cuz it freezes all the time..so this really sucks right now.. o well I'm gonna try to work on it again hhmm..how is this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...487#DetailSpecs
It's not really weird, it's the same with every other market. You just need to look around for the good stuff.
