Allright I've been hearing a lot of FF is better than IE and Opera is better than IE but which do you think is better vs. eachother?

Make sure to think about Compatibility, speed, customization, etc.

Firefox. It's just way better than any other browser out.

I'll start the fight. Opera is better.

Opera saves your pages to memory so that when you hit the back button, it's *click* there...

Opera also has some special functions that let you use your mouse to navigate, back, forward, refresh, etc.

Opera starts faster than any Firefox I know of...

Opera saves your tabs, Firefox doesnt..

Well I am a devoted Firefox user. However with all this talk of Opera being better, I'm gonna have to hold my vote and try it out.

/me plods off to install Opera.

when you close down FF, if you have any tabs open, it asks you if you want to close them. The next time you open FF, it goes to your home page, and the tabs are gone.

In Opera, when you have 5 tabs in it, and shut it down, it doesn't ask you anything. The next time you open it, the tabs will still be there..

    Thats what i mean...

Well, seeing as how Opera's new comeback hasn't exactly made it turn all previous FF users to Opera users, it's quite obvious who's going to win the poll.

I'm a Opera user myself, and I've always found it to be the faster browser. FF just tends to be more flexible.

Yea well I'm using Opera now..and i dont like it a whole lot..its about the same speed of firefox, and its kinda ugly even with the downloaded skins and i've looked thru tons and it doesnt look that great.
Opera, to me, doesnt seem so,..customizable? or simple..or both..idk..The one thing I do like is how it shows how many images are being loaded :D

Anything Opera can do, FF can do twice as good. Don't forget about extension, and FF is open source so you won't have to wait a few years for the next patch.
