yeah its a nifty trick, but you could do that in ps7 as well with the chains

i prefered ps7 because cs2 is really slow for me. no idea why. tho cs2 has some nice tricks i wouldnt want to miss

Can't you change the amount of gridlines/distance between 'em? I'm pretty sure you can do it on CS, and even on 7, unless you're talking about this completely new feature that does not involve any older Photoshop feature.

Or, maybe I'm just thinking about Illustrator. <_<

i got 7. cs and cs2 from my school the only problem i see why u shouldnt upgrade is the fact that the newer versions use more memory for running

ofcourse that wasnt a problem for me (2 gigs of RAM lololo)

but the upgrades since 7 dont really add more than just a few nifty tricks

im waiting for the next pack tho (cs3 ????) cuz im gonna get

macromedia studio 8 (yes legal my dad can obtain without tax cuz he has his own buisness, he can also deduct the price cuz he would need the software for his company) the reason im gonna buy the new photoshop and macromedia versions is that adobe bought macromedia and announced that they would make photoshop, imageready, flash, fireworks, dreamweaver work better to getter
