Don't be alarmed folks, GR is back up and running! Shaggy performed a tune up and put the breath of life back into the site.

I feared the worst for a while.

    But the museum lives on.

He's a hard man to track down, but found him on on of his other bazillion forums and all was restored. I don't think I'm ready to let go of GR just yet, not like that!

About 6' 2" now, and thanks for asking. :)

The domain expired and the auto renew for it didn't kick in for some reason. Like I said in the past, I will never close down GR.

Now, I would love to get GR active again. Any ideas xlink?

I don't have anything profound at this time.
If you don't mind me asking, who's actually moderating the place?

Not active. I'm the only one cleaning up spam when it comes.

Make me an admin again. Can't promise I'll be INSANELY active (busy life, work + grad school + a bunch of things I'm applying for) but I'll make an effort to be on a bit more than the current ghost.

The last mass email I did really brought back several users, but couldn't keep them active as there was nothing to be active with. Need to find that thing that will keep them coming back.

To some extent it's partially a matter of keeping new content posted.

For a while I was trying to make a new thread a day but got busy and couldn't keep it up (I worked close to full time while in college and did internships)
