What's the favorite memory you have related to GR? I definitely remember the IRC. I recall one time I took an art history class and I actually talked about how I learned to do graphic design from this site.
It's not directly related to GR itself but talking to Maj on MSN and getting him to rap for me was magic.
Close enough. haha. ohh helping all the people in the tech section. I actually talked about how I used to do that during interviews with IT consulting firms(Deloitte, Capgemini, Hitachi) back when I saw myself going that route.
I also am fond of the gift thread Morv made to his loved ones. Particularly the ones with the names dangling from...well you know where.
I seriously need to dig up all of my old art files... I'm going to make a new computer and will be consolidating things. YAY 10+ TB of storage.
Pretty sure I have mine somewhere on my backup drive... Best memory related to GR for me was probably meeting Morv and hanging out/drinking at Pukkelpop festival. Either that or all the random shit that went down in spam-heaven/off-topic edit: found it! also several nudes of a certain member with Dem's name on his body...
I have no memory of this, but it does sound like the type of thing I would have done back then. I don't have a specific memory, but I guess trolling the staff for years on end was always fun. Especially on IRC.
Purchasing Maj's steam account from him way back when for $15 when he was desperate for cash. It got me started with Counter-Strike: Source and I still use that account to date.
I'll treasure the mIRC antics the most. Making that one guy delete his computer...among other retarded things. The gfx crew shit too, with NextLevel and those folk. Majin, what did you do involving me and your pubes ? I can't quite remember..
I totally forgot about that kid deleting his computer. That was one of the greatest times in IRC. Also, the newspaper war was hilariously silly looking back.
