Yeah I have it for the xbox =/. I normally don't have a major problem with campers in any game because if you run into them once it's easy to trick them and kill them afterward or just avoid them. But in this game.. the spawns are just so shitty that on small FFA maps you will spawn in front of a prone enemy some 5 times before the game changes your spawn point. And one of the worse things I've been seeing lately are these pathetic campers in FFA that will literally be about 10 feet away from each other and won't notice, and when they do notice they won't even move to go kill each other they'd rather stay were they are. It's just disgusting.
I enjoy Black Ops to be perfectly honest. Unlike MW2, it isn't full of One Man Army noobtubers & quickscopers. Also, xboxplz.
I find tons of problems. When they got rid of quickscoping they lost a good 40% of there players. Peolpe played MW2 just to quickscope. They make edits for there yourtube account. Which is nearly impossible. It's gonna end up like bad company 2/
Okay i've been playing pretty much nonstop since 7pm on Wed. Only problems i've really got is the spawns. I'm sick of spawning right in front of someone or a attack chopper 5times in a row. Sick of the hit detection. Seriously i'll empty an entire clip on someone and it wont register. And finally lag, its ridiculous in some matches.
I quite enjoy it tbh. Its has its problems, but so does every cod game and Treyarch has actually fixed glitches and problems with the game pretty quick. Yes quickscoping is gone they've made it a lot more realistic. But it's also a heck of a lot more balanced, no one man army BS and constant noob tubing for a start. I also like the zombie part of the game and the campaign mode. Gives you something to do if you're getting bored of the online multiplayer mode...
Zombies are fun, always are really. I haven't bought it yet but I played it on the ps3 a few days ago seems you spend most of the game migrating hosts in multi-player then actually playing, this might of been fixed though. I agree the hit detection system is a bit iffy, although I do like the weapons and how they feel. I'll probably stick to MW2 for now though.
They've fixed up matchmaking a bit for online multiplayer on all systems. But the matchmaking in Zombies is still terrible. If you don't have a full party of 4 friends, when you do find a game with other strangers it just says migrating host and then boots everyone from the lobby. Really annoying.
I got used to it now and need to refresh my opinion. I'm not really a FFA player, and in games such as domination and ground war there aren't that many campers. It was different than MW2 but now I got the hang of it it's really fun, I love the customisation of weapons and all, and the Nazi Zombies mode is great again. And yes, the campaign is still very good. Online community (not a FFA player.) is pretty good, I'm not seeing that much bullshit as on MW2 and getting high killstreaks isn't that easy anymore.
The only problem with the zombies mode that I had was finding a group. Took upwards of sometimes 30mins just to find one person, that probably has no relation to dodgy networking though. I'll probably buy the game around or just after Christmas time, MW2 is still pretty popular atm so no rush.
hmm after 3 weeks i say they need to fix the servers and will hopefully do so. i hate not being able to connect to friends and getting kicked despite fixing NAT type etc. otherwise, its a great game, a big improvememnt on mw2. Dont call me crazy but i still think MoH beats it hollow in gameplay. What MoH lacks though are the maps, modes, guns and overall charisma and flair of Black Ops. SP is exciting. Zombies are fun and the graphics are nice and lively. Black Ops has a sort of aura around it. An aura that neither of its competitors (mw2 and moh) have. BC2 definetely has it amd i still enjoy it way more than any other game but lets face it, they are very different games.
