So ... I offered to do something for a very special friend of mine. Here's the result of 15 hours total of PS-ing: Background is from scratch. Stocks, vectors, some brushes used ... nothing too fancy. The rest are basic PS techniques I've been using [and working on]. Since this is my first ever LP, comments and criticisms are most welcome. Thanks! ~Rvn
Thanks, man. "Too white" ... ? It's actually transparent, lol. That's the background showing. I turned the original photo into b/w and then removed all the white parts, retained the black, and overlayed it onto the bg. But yeah, I guess it still does need a few more tweaks. :3
Vivacity? Nope. Topaz Clean to clean the final layer a bit (but the final output after cleaning differs minutely with the original layer before it, 'cept for the bg), and to slightly curl the background. And then gradient maps/adjustment layers after that one, and some blurring/burning/dodging afterwards.
Good grief, 15 hours, must have been a very special friend! But it's really a nice work. The lines of the girl/flowers/vectors really look as if they are POPPING. love it!
