i like the colors and the rough smudging on the render. i also like the idea of the text, although its hard to read. maybe duplicate the text layer and set it on another blending mode just to make it a lil better readable, or leave it on the same blending mode but toy with the opacity. only i would'v done the flow different. it feels like the flow is coming from the empty space between her body and arm, or from her belly. i would'v put the render on the left side and made the flow from her spiked shoulderplate/arm the border, i dunno, i don't like it but thats just personal i think
Ya i see what your saying. The flow wouldn't have worked from that side because she's leaning back on the original image.
1. fix smudging around render. 2. make text more clear 3. darken the super bright areas in background a little. I liked the purple/blue, but bright white steals from art. -that border I would normally frown on
I know the borders terrable. I put it on there because my friend wanted it because its the legit WoW border 'Rolls Eyes' O wells haha.
Yeahh i see the fantasy theme to the sig so border could work, nothing is really right or wrong in the end as long as your satisfied.
Use some levels layer, burn tool, dodge some areas, apply an exposure to the render, give it some contrast, color balance it. There are many more adjustments. I think it's time that you apply more of then to get an even better outcome. From what I can see, is that the style is unique and quite interesting to look at if you ask me. But it seems unfinished... The tag has potential to become a great tag. Just put some more into it. I agree with nexus first post though. Kiu-
in my opinion you kinda destroyed the render a bit too much, theres like 60% of it left, i think that it could use a lil less smudging maybe. the text, yet again, could use some work. try to work it into the art a little more, maybe smudge or distress it a little and in my opinion try to stay away from the corny little hand written kinda texts, looks almost a little childish. overall it looks pretty good, i think there are just a few details that could just use a little refining. the small details are what makes something like that in my opinion. i also think that a levels layer or somethin to amplify the depth effect you're goin for with the whole fade into the mist type theme you're goin for. and like i've said like thee times in this post, it's strictly my opinion, which will obviously differ from other peoples haha just tryina let you know what i personally think would make it better. just tryina help
