Because browsing the web on a mobile device is fine for when you're sitting on the bus, but if you used it as your main device for such, you'd go absolutely insane.

Clash, you should, for once, try to see things from other people's perspectives other than your own. Not everyone has the exactly same need as you from their electronics.

The netbook market is massive, and most of the people buying them buy them as their only or main computer. What I am saying, is if I were one of them, I would take an iPad over a Netbook any day. I know that you wouldn't, but tbh I dont give a **** what you would do, since it normally probably involves incest and kosher meals.

i have 2 of them for one thing... I just don't have a use for them for work or for play... not many situations outside of that... gaming on it is lame as hell, net browsing is ok at best, movie quality is nice, but you need to be on wifi to watch movies...however i'm never in a place with wifi with no computer around.

As for anyone else... netbooks are a cheap alternative to laptops... why would you pay as much as you would for a laptop for something that barely passes as a netbook?

Again, I don't want to hear about your experiences. My opinion has nothing to do with your 50 million free iPads.

First off, iPads here in NZ start at $799nz, which is the same as a midrange netbook. Second, the larger, higher resolution/quality screen is much better for trying to do work on a netbook (I've tried). Third, with a combination of a keyboard+mouse, it can be used like a desktop PC. Fourth, its much sexier and more portable than a netbook.

Netbooks are very overrated, there slow ass **** and cant do everything you would expect it to.

For an extra $100 or so I wouldn't mind grabbing a ipad if I was in the need of something in those fields.

I'm not a fan of the Ipad since i don't think its any different from the itouch in 95% of the features tbh but I'd take it over a netbook for browsing and things of that sort.

I have all of them to and it doesn't change a thing. It just makes me look cool.

1 - I have 2 desktop PC which I use to do all kind of stuff that all of these gadgets can do. I just can't take it out of my house.

    2 - I have a laptop that I use whenever I go out.

3 - I use my iPad whenever I have business meetings for presentation purposes and nothing more. So, they will say, "hey she's so cool with an iPad I should buy 1 too." Well, I have a laptop to use for my presentation I just look cool with it.

4 - I use my mobile phone just to check my emails and update my friends in Twitter and Facebook.
