BURN i agree in half. i use tuts to get some concept then turn it around and add my own style to it, being i am still new.
I really like this composition. It comes together nicely to a point. Coloring is great. Image quality is a bit low, but not terrible. All over... 8/10
Ah... Disturbed.... You really captured their look. Looks great...would look better with some type... but that's just me. Very well executed. 7/10
First off... congratz... I haven't really liked anyone's type until now. Great placement, great use, great color. It's eye catching and leads into the image very well. Coloring all over is great. I like the use of contrast with the blacks and whites. Image quality looks about as good as a jpg is going to get. Layout is great as well. You get a rare 10/10
Not sure what the spider web in the BG is for...??? I see a cool concept gone wrong here. Keep the black brushing, make the BG solid white, and make Fox B&W. Also, move the type somewhere else.
Those 'spiderwebs' are wireframes, but alright. Is this more what you were seeing (ignoring the text)?
Welcome. First off we'll start with composition. Usually, I'd frown upon basing a layout from the center...which instinctively we all want to do... but it's boding. However, you've managed to add some interest to the piece by shifting the balance with the glow in the right side. Well done there. Image quality - This image is a little washed out. Ruined by effect layers, adjustments, and filters. They are fine in moderation, just be sure to mask them off so that at least some of the image remains nice and sharp. Isn't TOO bad here... just a few artifacts here and there. darn PNGs. Also, adjusting the Curves might help out. Coloring - Very well done. Pallet works nicely. I do wish there was a contrasting color to emphasize or accentuate part of the image. Type - Typography is well placed, however the font choice doesn't match the tone of the piece. I'd go with something more simple like Arial or Verdana. Treatment is ok, but I wish it contrasted a little more. I do like that it has an under-water "floating" vibe to it...nice depth there. 8/10
