Call me a sheep or what you like. GR is so dead. I tried to help out with my tag shop with the new re-vamp but there is no traffic coming here... honestly wtf. I'll pop in from time to time, but i dont think i'll bother with any comps or anything to help the site 'grow'.
Yeah i definitely agree, it's because the admin's are tied up and GR isn't a main focus, any site that is successful has admins that devoted to the community and its growth.
Call me crazy, but I'm staying until the end. Might as well wait for it's demise rather than ditch it. To each his own, I suppose.
Yeah i'm with you, ive been a member for a long time and saw this site through each of its stages, i have hope that this site will return to what it was once it has dedicated admin, the staff have done a great job maintaining it, but they can only do so much.
Tell that to the years of which I spent 4-6 hours daily here. Days where I posted, contributed, moderated, upgraded, talked to other staff, etc. to make this a better place. What has the community as a whole done to promote this website? Bitch about it publicly? Advise people to sign up at other sites? Use GR as an advertising tool (even admins and staff have contributed to this)? Once in a while you see some beginner sig maker who is just starting contribute. He opens a store, he offers signatures at 10 credits and what do you all do? You shit all over his work. You all tell him he sucks and wont make it anywhere, that he should just give up now. You know how you can contribute? Pay the man 10 credits, get a signature, maybe converse in another topic or in PMs and help the person get better. Sanity is the newest admin on the team, he's easily established himself as being one of the most active admins and put forth just as much effort if not more effort than any admin in the past has and even he is beginning to see the job for what it really is. It doesn't matter how many man hours or dollars an admin spends on his site, the only thing that makes a site work is the discussion and the community, and without both of those the site dies.
Heyy dem is right; GR will get on its feet again just need to have patience and really everyone needs to dedicate to just this site(in my opinion) i used to sign up to all types of effing graphic sites jus becus i wanted to be everywhere but i end up losing activity in GR and a few others used to jus come here for resources n tutorials lol got to packed for me to really try to get to know the community but now im sticking to one graphic site which is GR since it was the 1st one i signed up to like others said above goin to stick to this site till i see its last post. Just be open with yourselves reply in silly topics, dont put any artist down help em out give them tips the whole nine yards i like to see ppl improve cus i feel like "hey i help this cat get to where he's at now he's mastered and surpass me!" Some friendly rivalry would be good to have round here specially for SOTW and all them other funfill contests. In other words stead of some of us being negative bout the site and peeps stay optimistic and keep posting sometihng intresting lol
i wasn't meaning you guys haven't done anything, and yeah what you said happens alot, but i've also seen you be apart of scaring people away just as much as anyone of us... I wasn't trying to point fingers, just i think like you said it goes hand in hand, and personally i think all aspects are lacking. But i do believe also this site will rebound itself and come back.
You are absolutely right that I have been, however I have never made someone worth the forums time scared to come here. Any individual I have decided to run off was already on the way out and I simply showed them the door or they were simply detrimental to forum activity.
Make this website a porn site, maybe with anime and game boobz to help out with the whole gamerenders idea.
Yeah well this site has really died.. It's a shame, this is where I started out and learned alot.. Now when I come on here I see a totally different site than what it used to be..
Can't lie to you, but yes. We're working on reviving it. It was once a forum with more activity than I can describe.
