I haven't used Android, but I'd sooner buy an iPhone than an HTC phone.

Who's your reliable source? I bet you my nads my source is better.

    Why won't it ever happen?

Verizon... Primary marketing campaign is promoting a competing device and slamming the iPhone. Not to mention Verizon doesn't have GSM support which would kill most of the features on the iPhone...minus the phone.

T-Mobile and Sprint both support GSM, and Apple has entertained the thought of going with t-mobile. That deal went south and Sprint doesn't have enough customers to bother with.

AT&T may have w/e issues the apple fanboys make up... but it has support for the phone, and second most customers. Until that changes, iPhone will remain with AT&T. Next year it's projected that AT&T will bump Verizon out of the lead. But when it comes to it, the DROID beats the iPhone into the ground. (which is probably why Verizon is #1)

And why are android phones better than the iPhone? There are more options when it comes to devices and carriers that the iPhone will never have.

And you love it because it's a great phone, not because its cool to like it.

People who say anyone who likes Apple products is just conforming to what is cool needs to step back and realize they're the only ones making purchasing decisions based purely on what's cool and what isn't.
