It looks like an Xbox with Cerebral Palsy.

yeah the overheating is still the major problem of xbox. I have a friend who is from xbox support and that is always the issue.

I hope they could fix that problem soon.

You reckon if they make the new xbox 360 slim, that it will be compatible with kinect?

I reckon it will cause problems in the future...

overheating issues are mostly resolved now. Dieshrinks mean less heat out of the chips.
check the power supply with the new units, it's evident that they only barely sip power.

Even though I'm a bit late to the game, (and they are,) I still think it's a good call for Microsoft. Technogeeks will buy this just to have their hands on it, and if the market it the right way it can be a huge hit seeing as there are no other "new" consoles floating around at the moment.

I have a 360 and as long as you take proper care of it then you're good to go. You can get a Intercooler for it and it will do wonders! I have only sent it in once and that was cause I put it in the garage when it was summer time a couple of years ago and the moisture in the air in the morning really messed it up. I don't mean to sound hostile or anything but cmon, try and take care of it.

ive had 2 360s (first batch) and a elite and not one of them has over heated or anything. i clean the dust off the vents and make sure the 360 has space to breath and you look after it.

Yeah I upgraded to the slim version. It's pretty damn good. Uses very little power compared to the original. The powerbrick is a lot smaller now as well. It barely makes any noise, especially when playing games from the hard drive.

The touch sensative buttons are a nice addition and the all black controller with chrome home button is awesome. As well as the 250GB HDD.

And it has built wireless N adapter.
