Real friends. I don't mind internet friends; however, like someone has already mentioned, what happens if your internet goes down?
You're just lucky you need'nt have to face such incidents. Trust me, they happen. You THINK they'd be there for you, but when you're at you're wits end, ------ing up someone online is still the best coz they're "fake". When you want to go club over the weekends? Go alone, and come back with another. -_- Go with a friend, and come back alone. -_-
What a stupid question to ask.. Ofc real life friends>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> online "friends" How can some guys choose online friends ? maybe you guys don't have real life(so no friends) so you don't know what are real life friends
i'll take both i think having real friends is good because of the social side, and its easier to gain a connection but i know it seems sad but i like to talk to online friends more then i talk to my real mates because they dont go off and tell everyone what i told them then leave me feeling like a tool. but i like having both ... its a even vote great thread
Having online friends is great, but there's no question that real life friends are better. It's a little hard to go on a bike ride or eat lunch with an online friend, and again, what happens if your internet is down A definite advantage of internet friends though is that it's easier to tell somebody what's on your mind on a computer. The computer is such an impersonal device that you feel little to no guilt about admitting something you did wrong to get it off of your chest. Also, internet friends aren't gonna go "accidentally" tell some of your friends about your shortcomings. HOWEVER, real life friends (if chosen well) will be there for you for life. They're excellent emotional support, and are just fun to hang out with. Granted you will meet a few ***holes in your life who you think are friends but aren't, but how is that different from the internet anyway? Rl wins <3
Did you ever take into consideration the possibility that you're basing your opinion on bad past experience?
I kinda agree with this. The nice thing of people you like to talk to on the internet (I can't call them friends) is that they are not going to tell toher people bout it. But still, real life friends are way better.
Real Friends of course. I have some good online friends from playing online games but real friends are the ones who will help you through life. It is really sad to say but some people actually need online friends to survive. People need interaction in order to stay sane. Most people will take what they can get and make the best of it. The benifit for some people making friends online is that they can be whoever they want to be. Take Second Life, some people spend the majority or all of thier time on that Sim Community. These people may not be able to make friends as eaisly as others and are able to find refuge from this virtual world. You could also take "Wilson!!!!" as an example, Tom Hanks in "Cast Away" made himself a friend from a volleyball. It's all about what's available to you or who for that matter. In the end you can't ask your computer or a volleyball to be your best man or maid of honor at your wedding can you?
real friends. Sure online you can say whatever you want, but whos gonna lend you money when your out to eat, whos gonna pick you up when your car breaks down, some guy in another country sure isnt gonna give a rats a$$. ive made some great online friends, but my real friends are like my brothers.
