Ulead3D is very easy to use compared with Cinema4D - I found Cool3D very easy - C4D was a pain to get use to everything i hardly use that - ye its got different things u can use to make different styles and materials etc

c4d is easy to use, to make a simple render, make on object, click "c" then go to structure > edit surfaca > matrix extrude and play around with the settings and add materials

C4d is a good program and I'm sure you can do almost anything in the program. I made this after a few goes at C4d, and done the rest in Photoshop:

Just follow a few tut's and you'll be alright. Never used or even heard of Cool3D though. >_>
