i've never used scan lines or white dots, so i'm struggling here, lol! I just put white dots on the entire sig. Now i want to have the white dots only on the top and bottom of the sig(but the length of the sig) so how do i cut out the white dots?? any help would be greatly appreciated, thnx! 1st preson to reply(correctly) gets +rep, and thnx again
someone told me the rectangular marque tool, but after i release the mouse button, the selected area is circular not square, lol PLEASE HELP
Use a new layer and do the scan lines or whatever. Use the square Marque tool (sp?) and cut out the bottom of the white in the entire sig until you get the amount you want on the top. Duplicate the layer and do the same on the bottom.. Dont +rep. Earn rep.
For scan lines do the following: Make a new transparent image of dimensions 3px x 3px. Get out the pencil tool, set it to 1px black Zoom in to 1600x on the image Draw a line (3px) across the centre of the image Go to Edit-->Define Pattern and call it Scan Lines Go to the image you want to add scanlines to Go to (something like) Insert-->New Fill Layer-->Pattern-->"Scan Lines" Click Ok Voila
Your problem with the rectangular marquee is that you proabaly have a feather on. Set the feather to 0, and then you should be fine.
