well im not from UK j.k... anyway, Im gonna go *beg* my dad for a price.. he doesnt believe in spending this much money on something like a computer..but I really want to do this.

Not bad -=DarkStar. Good job man. I wouldn't have choosen another system to make. Mabye just a little tweak with some parts here & there, but that's a good work with that price.
Allright thanks.. my maximum is about 800 dollars by the way.. anyway, are those all from the site? and when you do post them post the full detail one..just cuz I like to read it all..it doesnt matter that u didnt include it Darkstar, u told me all the good stuff anyway EDIT: btw, how much cheaper would it be if I got all the same specs from Ibuypower but I built the computer myself.
If you can buy the parts and NOT A PC ASSEMBLED - It works out cheaper coz the company adds labour costs on top of that Im going to make one myself as well gona order the parts from different sites and it works out around £530 for a good decent spec thats without monitor (monitor makes it too expensive) and I got the processor and GFX card that soari posted thx for creds anyways
Allright thanks guys... since I'm makin my computer..any good sites for parts that are reliable, good, and cheap other then Newegg and Tigerdirect? btw, I read somewhere its better to get 2 sticks of 512 mb ram rather then one gig of RAM..this true?
Probably because Dual Chennel works between the 2 - If you get 2 x 1GB sticks it works together faster in other words - Might be might not be not sure but im sure that 2 sticks once the same perform better because pf dual channel I was $15 off not bad when you said $800
yes that's true about the 2x512mb sticks of ram. also i think you should choose amd, not intel, but that's your preference i guess
I'll probly get an AMD 64 bit but idk which one yet..it seems like those are most popular.. I want a system with at least 2.7-2.8 GHz up to 3. whatever..whats the cheapest I can find something for 2.8GHz? EDIT: and thanks for answering my other question I'm givin ya some creds for the help. and dont try to just help me for a few creds either..well, not if u dont know what ur talkin bout XP
Hey guys, is this good for the price? It seemed good to me but I'm still learnin bout computer hardware..I never been too good with it since mine always sucked http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...1428460&CatId=0
that looks good for the price, but you could get something twice as good for an extra $20, thats whats weird about computer hardware.
