hold your pants. you have vga.dll this is not your card's driver, this is the standard one windows throws at it so it at least works. go to your vga card's manufacturer site and download the most current drivers.
If you fins what driver you have and post it here (or google it) the site should be there then looks for drive updates If you post it here maybe i can help because i had this prob with hl2 nd cs NB any creds for that^^^? sorry the 3rd word should be find fins? lol
Gimme the make of the GFX card and Ill find out for you OR Go into Windows Update and then it will automatically search for hardware drivers that you need once done that - Download the Latest DirectX - Which is DirectX 9.0c - Once downloaded that install it - Once installed Go to DxDiag and then enable it - After this it should work but first i need the manufacturer site or you can go into Windows Update and download thru there Post anymore queries and ill be glad to help
go into control panel > System > Hardware tab > Device manager > open up/click the plus sign of the Display adapters and give me the name
If it's a GeForce video card you can always go to their website & download the drivers. You don't need to know the model, the site automatically detects the type of video card you're using. If your using ATi that's another story. :blink:
He doesn kno the GFX card make - I have told him to go to Windows Update and look thru there but asked for the site so i need the make name do i not?

ok i found the box aswell as a spare 63mb ram lol ok i read box now right, it haz big bold righting as if it were tital saying RX9200 made by summet like MSI Multimidean also says in a lil logoGraphics by Ai hopw that helps
