Does the sound stop in the middle of the game or randomly at the start of the game?

Strange. What soundcard/-chip do you have in your computer and what operating system?

    Try updating sound drivers.

Private, GJ knows what on-board means. We've been on other computer related forums before.

I think you need to get updates for your sound card. but DO NOT just have windows look for it on the net.

    Try the following instead:

    1. Go to your board manufacturer's site. they should have driver updates that work fine.

    2. look up the make of your sound card, and find their site, and look for downloads matching the serial of your card. (serial is normally below where you find the make of your card. for onboards, it should be near the ports, if you didn't know..)

    3. If the top 2 don't work, go to www.driversguide.com They may have your drivers. you can sign up with them for free.

Is it one of those Realtek's AC'97 on-board audio devices?
If it is, I could send you very well working drivers for it.
