    Pretty sure thats an Automatic Update.. I dont think you should have that many though.. :blink:

    Yes they are Microsoft patches. You are supposed to have alot, service pack 2 is huge, just make sure you have them as well. Make sure you check regularly for more.

    Yes, there are tons of hotfixes for Windows Xp. You can uninstall them one by one in case they cause some problems to you (and why would they?)

    If you want to clean the list you can delete the uninstall entries for those things from the Windows registry. It would be better to download some uninstall manager program that can handle it more safely.

    Alright I was just wondering what those were never seen them probably because I never have windows automatic updates on and yesterday accidently turned them on.

    Service pack 2 is evil, it screwed over my PC *grumble* O_O
    Mind you it is a tempermental machine that i have....dammit

    Btw am i wrong or is that blue spiderman sig above me missing an 's'? :rolleyes:

    you're right.... I wouldve never noticed...

    SP2 is fine... just dont put it on a retarted one...

    ^^^ that's not nescisarily true...automatic updates won't deter a determined hacker...

    It fixes problems therefore called Patches :D

    If u download all the patches/hotfixes then you will hav a long list like that

    For the person hu said SP2 ruined their PC - If your PC is slow then dont mke it any slower by installing SP2 even though it provides alot of patches and extra functions :D It does kinda slow the PC but covers more vulnerabilities compared to one that hasnt ;)
