You can use Visual Styles. It changes the theme on XP and you don't need any 3rd party software. All you'll need is an unlocked uxtheme.dll. More info at: http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=339820
I will have to skin my computer now... I had just been using a very light XP classic deviation, but nwo I can completely optimize it.
@Cycloneflame - Why would you even say that, Vista is still in Beta, it's still gonna be a while for it to come out. Plus, how do you even know that the uxtheme.dll will be unlocked? You'll probobly still need to have a 3rd party program to change themes. Obviously you have know idea what you are talking about, so how about not saying anything insted of giving invalid advice.
Alienware has around 3 differnt really cool winxp themes. All of them have windows media player skins that move around and whatnot. Im pretty sure you can find them at the skinsfactory. Just search it on google I dont know the link anymore.
actually i think you dont know what your talking about seeing as ive used the neowin patch, and i just double click on the visual styles i dl from da, and boom, a skin i dont like those programs that give spyware and lag ur computer, that neowin patch doesnt lag whatsoever
