    It depends on your site. If its portfolio, php, because it shows professionality. If its just a random site with no purpose except for viewing and looking and stuff, then html. If its a interactive website which has forums, and you can comunicate to others in others via web server then obviously it has to be php.

    php>html.

    with php you can use scripts. its dynamic. html is just static stuff.

    If you're asking about ease of use, I'd say HTML.

    But PHP is the more powerful language

    if ur a beginer and want ur site up quick learn html if not lean php

    if its just a clan site with like a roster, matches, about the clan etc use HTML and then you can put a link to an invison free forum if you want a forum

    It might look strange but i use both
    for beginner and less work work
    and vice versa.

    Best to Start with HTML, get a feel for the language and move on to PHP. One you can understanding what you're typing, much easier to wrok with.
