Lassoing Help

I am trying to render some stuff, but whenever i use the lasso tools i cant move the screen to the left, but i can move it in all other directions. Does anyone else have this problem, or does anyone know how i can undo this so when i am cutting i can move the screen in all directions?? Thanks for the help

 

Hold the space bar and move it around.

 

use the pentool u can scroll with it and u wont lose ur place and u can undo the last point u made
