get a gig of ram and i payed 80 for my 120gig maxtor 7200rpm in august. otherwise looks fine, but i would recamend a amd64, more bang for your buck.

Thats what books and things are for. Thats how I built mine and I had no knowledge whatsoever. And had only looked in a comp a couple times.

Anyways thats a sweet comp. Not as good as mine though :P

I was looking at the AMD 64 but it was only 2.2 GHz and this one have 800 fsb and 3.4 GHz

AMD has 1600 Front Side Bus

If ya wanna get pedantic you can't talk about the fsb when dealing with the Athlon64's, simply because its irrelevant as they have an inbuilt memory controller. 1600 is trash anyway (I've only ever seen that listed at PC world) and just like the *fsb* on the athlons pentiums have em quad pumped so really its only a 200mhz fsb. If you don't believe me buy one and the boot up the bios when u got your system working, it'll say 200. The clock speeds may appear slower but thats why AMD have their "Pentium rating" as each chip does more work per mhz than a pentium does, hence y they have all the 2800+ etc etc etc, to show you what Pentium its equivalent to.
And as for the A64's they seriously kick ass when u run 64bit progs on em (trust me I'm running the 3000+). A quick description of why....internal data storage on any 32 bit chip is around about 4Gb of data and stuff to do , when you consider a 64 bit chip that increases to 16 Terabytes.

i wouldnt buy at tigerdirect just because they seem overpriced

i bought all my stuff execpt my case on newegg.

my comp specs here, cost just over a grand in late august. (not including my monitor and windows, dvd burner and sound card i got for xmas).

The best way is custom made, and the best cases you can find people in your area that mod thier own. cases that you buy at newegg and places like that are way too expensive for what you get.

Well I'd personally prefer a cool case... standard grey ones made your PC look dull and boring after a while... ¬_¬
