I'd say make the lighting come from the top of where both tags meet. That would solve your problem of the right render having wrongly drawn shadows for your light source, hence relieving you of the need to overlighten it THAT BAD

not my cup of tea, nothing much happening, or clean, depends on how you like to put things into words.

seems like a nice concept, personally i dont like cartoons in the real world

The lighting is strong but the direction is correct thanks for the comment though ^_^
