I am saving up for a new computer...

I was thinking about Saving up for an AlienWare Area-51, but I was wondering if there was another good gaming computer for a cheaper price.

Whats the best for the best price?

Never get Alienware as their products are way overpriced. Try putting together your own custom computer. Much much cheaper :)

build your own, you get way more for your buck. you can make something just as good as an alienware for a fraction of the price.

If you dont know how to build a computer yourself, and you dont know anyone that could help you, Alienware is probably the way to go if you have that kind of cash to throw around.

I'd spend a few hours on newegg.com before you do though if you know anything about computers and put together a system for yourself.

Alienware is good if u got the cash, but tbh, they r heavily overpriced and i built my computer, which rinses the top spec alienware outright, and i spent less than half the amount. If you dont wanna build your own, consider some companies other than alienware, depends on where u live, if ur europe the try these:

http://www.ajp.co.uk << Better than alienware and EXTREMELY well priced.

http://www.meshcomputers.com << Great all rounders and good performers for reasonable prices.

What ever one else said, build your own. Or if you've just won the lottery buy me and yourself, an Alienware one

Yeah, like everybody says, build your own. You have to do a lot of research if you don't know that much about it. You want to make sure that every one of your parts is compatible with every one of your other parts.

Building your own is just about the only way to get a decently priced gaming rig.

If it's just for gaming build yourself a Shuttle. It's small and you can bring it everywhere. Especially if you need your gaming comp for tournaments and stuff.
