bull$h1t IPOD isnt going out of business, Ipod isnt even a company

Apple owns the Ipod name and I doubt there going out of business

    to fix your problem:

go to run and type chkdsk (what drive your ipod is) /f

    That should fix it

You can't get songs from your ipod onto itunes without a 3rd party program... try burning your songs on CD and reinstalling itunes.

home fry: did you buy a used ipod or have someone else upload songs to it, that would cause your problem

no i did it myself, have my own new ipod. I think i know the problem.

My comp got messed i and had to take it in to get fixed, and they had to reset Windows. But of course my iPod still has the songs but the Library is now empty. I just want to know if i plug it in and the Library is empty, if it will totally empty out my iPod cause i dont want that.

Yeah I got told that too except you said it wrong. They mean that they aren't making ipod mini's anymore because the nano is out. ;)
