Well I just bought some new Bose speakers Link they are some awesome speakers a lil expense for just to 2 speakers but sound quality is great . I figured I post this if anyone was thinking of getting them. I cant get 5.1 speakers they take up too much space since I have a small computer desk.

I have no room to talk since "I spend too much on my computer itself" but that is a bit expensive for TWO speakers. I do realize that Bose makes some NICE quality and sounding speakers but that is a bit much. They aren't even 2.1 (Bass).

I bought those about a month back, and I must say they aren't worth it. Mine have that annoying fuzz sound that you get when your speakers are turned up all the way, except it's constant. It's not even a light sound you can put up with, it's just loud enough to drive you crazy and the only way to make it stop is to unplug the speakers. From what I read online, it's a constant problem with that set -_-

Hmm I don't know if I'd get those speakers. Mainly cause I'm a bass hoochie ;p

    Right now I have:

    http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/Product...c=us&l=en&cs=19

100 watts rms, 5.1 surround sound. It's an alright set up I guess, they can get pretty loud and still maintain good quality. However, I want these...

    http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products...,CONTENTID=9486

500 watts rms. My friend owns these logitech speakers and man are they ever crazy. Their sweet for partys. You can here it where ever you are in the house :P

But ya, after going 5.1, id never go back :P

zomg, I want those $400 speakers, they are so amazing...

    used to have these
    http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products...,CONTENTID=9067

they are about $150 they are worth it.... amazing sound quality, the sub is extremely responsive and distortion free, except when you are listening to really bassie songs on low... These speakers go as loud as you want them, I am an avid Death Metal fan (not goth) and these speakers pump it out really good.
