I can't open Norton in safe boot  If I want to start the program I get a error asking to send a report or not (you know the error) Anyone knows how I can fix it?

Could be one fo many problems. What is the actual error? Something like Auto-Protect unable to run in Safe mode.??

Norton has some components that have to start up with Windows. When you go into safe mode you dont start any of them. Therefor you wont be able to scan. Unless they have a way to enable all components from within Safe Mode to allow a scan.

Well if it's Nortons 2005 in safe mode click on start and then run. From there type in navw32 /L and the scan will start. Your not the only one with the problem. Some guys sent an e-mail about it to symantec. And they told them to reinstall windows and the program. If I were you i'd prolly switch to AVG. Even the free addition work fairly well. And the updates are alot smaller. And Norton also is a resource hog.

AVG, Avast, or any of the free AV's work better than Norton.

The mouse always beats the cat...
