That is pretty slick. although it seems to me that the nav bar should be top or on a side.

use photoshop. plain and simple that is all you will need other than notepad(++) and you can be making anything your imagination can think of

Looks pretty slick, though it looks alot like a flash website. The reason for saying that is i find sites that look like a flash website that end up being html tend to come off tacky.

But if it is indeed a flash site, ignore my above comment ;)

    Great design!

nice design :) though i would place the navigation either on top or remove it and try to intergrate the navigation into the design like on the covers. instead of the arrows a next page links or something like that, it would work out great in flash :P

    thanks for the feedback

i will try and redo the navigation where i can fit it in.
the reason i had it there is so i could have a better balance so that the main are of the site grabs peoples attention

It would look cool as a java site, thats more of why i asked what you used for that, i'm getting things situated and then going nutts in my free time on tutorials of the sort. I could definitely get used to more adobe software, going into an advertising profession and it would always be a some nice attributes.

dont use dreamweaver for sure. it messes up code and besides it much better to learn every bit of code you can. i recommend notepad(++) its got like 32 languages syntax highlighting and line count.

I think it would look a lot better if instead of the "flaps", you just made the main box wider.
