Decided to come to Game Renders for some unknown reason. My last log in:
    Welcome, Snowy.

I miss the good ol' days of making sigs. Photoshop and sites like GR got me my first job. I'll always be grateful for forums like Game Renders.

edit WOW I had no idea how much time I must've actually spent on this website... almost 1000 posts! Geez I must've had some free time back in the day.

    I remember when I was 15-16...

80ish hours a week online - a lot on GR
Most of my sleep was during school.

Wasn't much better when I was 20, haha.

The real question is, is rendering still a pretty big deal? I notice most rendering sites(well GR and Plant Renders) are dead. Is it because render has lost its dominance or is it still going and these 2 forums just missed the boat?

I have plans to get this site going but wasn't sure if rendering just was a phase.

Would be great to get GR popular again. I pretty much grew up here! 10 years goes by fast...

I do think a rebrand is in order (not necessarily rename)

Maybe instead of focusing on rendering... why not just game art? As in renders of gaming visuals. I'm using the term 'render' somewhat loosely here and not in the sense of a cutout but more in the sense of the actual image created/its derivatives.

Every time I click on any of the site buttons, windows keep popping up trying to give me some sort of virus. This isn't 2004 anymore- I don't need to be reminded of my older brother cleaning out my computer every time I would get thousands of viruses because I browsed sketchy porn websites. Start with cleaning that up and then vBulletin forum signature art will make a sweet comeback

If anyone is interested, I'm looking for some next-level sig artists for a new clan
