my mouse keeps plugging and unplugging. or specifically, windows detects it and a few minutes later cannot detect it then detects it back and so on. there is a beep when this happens as if USB devices get plugged and unplugged. the mouse is stil physicallyl plugged in because the LEDs in the mouse are lighted. ive tested in on all for of my USB and same thing happens. i've tried reinstalling the mouse and it also doesnt work. help meh!

Do you have a logitech mouse? And if so did you just install a new version of Setpoint?

could be a bad USB port, or a dieing USB port. try switching it to another one see if that works. also dust out both the male and female ends of the USB device you are using (male=mouse end female=laptop inupt)

You coud try using the window built in event viewer. That should show tell you if you have a problem, or what it is. Kind of sounds like a driver / detection problem.

It could just be a fault in the wire. If you wind the wire up when you're not using your laptop it might break while you're winding it up.
