Blocnote Cover

So this is a small assignment for school, a simple design for a blocnote and/or sketchbook.

I tried to keep it simple but appealing, I used a picture i took myself on the background and off course photoshopped the rest of it. I did the text in InDesign.

But i'm not sure about the blue of the text?
Hope to get some CnC from you guys

cool text, myself I'm not feeling the blue, at least the dark blue. I would try making it either all the blue of amateur, or keep it beige/cream/brown colors.

 

I made a version with other color text, i like it much more to be honest!

Version 2 is much better very nice and simple..

 

I like the second version too. For the sake of variation ... have you tried aligning the text to the right? It would look more unconventional if you're going that way.

 

No that actually didn't cross my mind at all, Decided to make a version 3 with text aligned to the right. But i don't know, version 2 still looks the best to me
