Dell makes some decent monitors at good prices... Don't really know what you're looking for other than that... could you be more specific as to what you need?
Just read some reviews then. Most 22" panels these days are using TN panels, which, while being inferior to a S-IPS or a PVA/MVA panel, they have very low response times and decent colours and contrast ratios. Also, they're cheap. Many people like AOC, Samsung, Dell, LG and Acer.
I have a Dell 1707FP i use for my Xbox 360 with the VGA connector.... looks excellent! NO complaints or any issues Whatsoever with the monitor... no dead pixels, no heat issues or anything weird... Plus you can rotate/tilt/lift&push the monitor to any which way you want... http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/p...;l=en&s=dhs this is the one i have !!!!!MAKE SURE!!!!! You check the 'Tech Stats" when you BUY the product... When i went to buy the monitor, the one i was Just about to buy was a 1707 but the "Tech Stats" were different for some reason(dell changed the monitor with a cheaper one, that looked the same) SO before you buy make sure its the one you wanted... i almost got a lower resolution monitor for just about the same price... (its a good idea to check what your buying anyway... and dell should say they changed the webpage too.. jerks!)
Don't be such a dramatist. Other than their desktops, Dell is more than competitve in every other sector. Their screens are among the best. As far as 24" and upwards are concerned, there's no real competitor.
As is the case with almost every other major OEM manufacturer. You can hardly say that HP, Acer and the like have higher quality products. Also, if you look at the 24" Dells, they have every feature under the sun. USB ports, every input you could ever think of needing, and use high quality S-IPS panels.
