New Comp Upgrades

    So I just upgraded some parts of my PC tonight, so I thought that I would share what I put in.

    Motherboard:
    -GeForce6100SM-M
    -Chipset: NVIDIA

    CPU
    -AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+

    Memory
    DDR2 1GB PC6400 x2
    Speed: 800MHz

    Video Card
    -Nvidia Quadro FX 1500

    To upgrade everything I listed, it only cost me 227 USD. I would say I got a pretty good deal on everything overall.

    How's that Quadro working in Photoshop? Probably pretty good?

    she's an admin, i don't think she cares... also it doesn't really matter as that thread is predominantly for pictures

    that's pretty cheap for all those parts.. did you buy them online?

    I havent tested the Quadro out yet as far as design goes, but I might whip up something in c4d to see what happens.

    And nah, I bought it all in the store.

    I got the video card from dads work, they needed a more powerful one then this one, so they had it extra and he brought it home for me. As for the motherboard/cpu it was a combo package deal sale, and the memory was on sale as well.
