you got ripped off. for that kind of money you should have been getting a c2d e6600, twice the RAM(and higher performance to boot) and a real video card not a POS.

    to put it bluntly...

mine cost around $1000 and has twice the RAM, and a CPU running at around 190% the performance of an athlon x2 3800+

Thanks for the comments on it all, and yeah it's AUD1800 so I don't know how much that converts to in US.

I wouldn't say "it's a piece of ----" im quite happy with it anyway :)

including the monitor and the OS that syste4m is worth around $1000 USD and that includes a hefty 100$ for labor(which si realistically around 10 minute given they are mass produced). Most people in india are payed around 20 cents an hour so this is quite generous.

unless you bought around 400$(500AUD) of software they made a moderate profit on you(since I blockeduated the prices of each part against their retail values, Dell gets parts for less)

It's a good pc, but you defenatly got ripped off. For that money, you can have atleast TWICE better PC. Man even my budget pc is like twice as better. Not meant to be hars or something but its sadly true.

    GL selling your pc john.
