I dont think brushes are used for smudges, not 100% sure but i believe you use PS tools to smudge it. Not sure if there are any, but look around for tutorials on how to do them :)

Not sure about the sound question, sorry.

about the smudge... it invlolved the smudge tool, [wow, huge surprise] and not brushes. there are tuts and .psd's for sale.

as for the sound question, all i can think is to do a little googling.

For smudging, any small brushes like the leaf or the star in the defaults are good for smudging.

As for sounds, google "free wav". You should find literally thousands of sound bits.

There is, but it uses brushes as a base for how it is smudging.

Use our search feature and try Smudge Sig, you'll find good results that way too.

A world far beyond your imagination...
dunno if this is what you wanted but
use this technique if you want

use the leaf brush (default brushes) and brush with white over your sig
then go to motion blur and blur it with an angle that looks good with your render and signature and with a distance of 50
after that turn that layer to softlight or overlay (your choice) and it should give you a good outocme

and again dunno if this wiill help ya on what you are looking for mate
but i gave it a try and also that i got some smudge brushes on my home computer
and as soon as i get my computer back i will send ya some of my smudgre brushes

and if none of the techniques work just go to http://www.deviantart.com and search for smudge brushes and you ought to find some ^_^

    hope this helped mate
