welcome. I dont know if anyone really uses a soldering iron when building a computer I know I built mine fine without one....
Well i was just laying in bed on vacation thinking about my new cp update and thought i may need a soldering iron.
you only need solder if you're modifying the motherboard or another component. typically unless you're trying to hack your hardware it's uneeded. Also, a lto of people have good success using this metalic stuff which is used in a manner similar to a pen... no excessive heat required.
If you tell us what kind of budget youre on im sure one of us, including me, would be more than happy to put a couple of parts together. But first you would have to list so specs.
hm, not to be offensive or put your sales market down Generation, but Sord, just dont take that deal. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814130247 eVGA 7800 GT $280 with a $20 mail-in rebate. i think evga supplies a life time warrenty (i think, or some long warrenty) on top of the 90-day step-up program if you wish to get a 7900 etc.
I have all the stuff it was a question that has been awnswered i have a gfx card next to me and im buying the cd/dvd burner tomorrow, so if you would of read the thread you'd know what i was talking about.
that made it sound like you were going to be buying gfx card, case, cd/dvd drive. sorry for the misunderstanding.
Ohh im sorry for getting mad in all but it seems like no one ever reads threads and just posts for credit. I asked if i needed a soldering iron, i dont think that sounds like a question about which parts.
I think you have this figured out. Nothing needed, no soldering. Just the cards, drives, and some screws. Ofcourse a screw driver comes in handy as well. But it's optional as we come with fingernails as human beings.
