javascript:winopen('http://www.dell.com/html/us/product...=YES,SCROLLBARS=YES,TOOLBAR=NO,LEFT=0,TOP=20'); put that in your adress bar to watch the vid on consumer electronics show about the Brand new dell It is on the top 15 list of supercomputers it has 4 Geforce Gfx cards And TONS more
Thats prob the biggest waste of money ever No game needs 4 7800, 1 is definatly good enough Most of that is just a waste of money, and you can wait a couple years and build the same computer for a LOT less
ya i know alien ware is all you will need =P as far as paformace and gaming im playing a brand new cod2 on a geforce build in 2002 =P
4 7800's will only bottleneck the system probly. its only good for those multimonitor systems. (at least 3-4) Its pointless to have. Its just to show what potential lies ahead. oh and this is topic number 3 on this.
the thing has not one but four GTXs. It won't bottle neck the system it will be slower in some extreme case than it is with only one. and also, i is 10000$ and doesn't exaclty have high performance harddrives. I could build better for 5000, or better yet, I coul not build better and save to of cash. FYI dell doesn't mean qualiy it means getting ripped off.
make your own for at least half the price probobly(i couldn;'t see the vid, but del are cheap, but not as cheap as diy)
basically what everyone else has said. This computer is a waste of money. You could easily make a computer that would out perform that computer CURRENTLY (as in before thats out, meaning more expensive parts) for $4000 maximum. For the maximum, best computer for your money you could make one truly kickass computerfor $1500 that would last you atleast a few years (minus graphics card/processor/RAM, within boundries) worth of gaming on it. In the end; Alienware, Voodoo, Dell and other companies all have the same title of "Rip Off". Dell is only good if you are a company buying in bulk for non-graphics use, like schools and business things.
WASTE I've seen more powerful computers for way less than that.... my friend recently built a new gaming machine. he only spent i believe 2,000 on it, and it's very sturdy. Dells, eh, not to last you for the next year at least...
Hey, that dell computer has just as many video cards as the number of times this same topic has been threaded
