Problem

    well i had some problems with windows and i borrowed a friends xp pro disk i reformatted with that and deleted the c partition its come time again to reformat but i want home edition which is on my pc, see heres the problem i still have my h drive which is my recovery drive so when i boot up my pc and hit f10 it brings me to where i can reformat but when i hit f10 on startup nothing happens can anyone help?

    ur wanting to wipe ur whole pc right?,

    on start up press one of theese cant remember which one

    either

    Alt+F10
    Alt+F11
    Alt+F12

    no he wants to format his pc and install xp.
    can you access your recovery partition in windows explorer? If there is nothing in it that means your recovery partition has been corrupted.

    Maybe just boot Windows in Safe Mode then format which ever drive you want from there?
    Seems like the easiest way i think :)

    yes when i open my computer its still there
