I would really like to use it. But everyone who plays games is almost forced to use windows.
You can always use dual boot for that but I don't like that.

    Note: whee it's snowing

If you are new to Linux then I suggest installing SuSE Linux 9.1 because it is much more user friendly. It is easy to configure a dual boot system using SuSE, so you don't have to go without Windows.

Linux- HAs been approved to have less virus attacks or just less viruses, linux is a lot more user friendly as said above, but (if your a gamer) it's mostly meant for hosting, not client side gaming.

you use either GIMP or a windows emulator so you can use PS... I have fedora core 3 on one of my systems though I will soo revert it back to windows, the truth be I need a few drivers for printers adapters etc. and I can not find/ procure them.

I would sugest having a linux machine or duel-boot with linux, Unlike windows i have never seen linux crash. A Proffesor at a uni sayed he used linux on his machines, working on it for 2 years, turned it off and the bootloader broke, cause linux store it in its memory.
Just use windows for PS and games :P daz
