It took me so long when I first came here to GameRenders it took me a long time to understand what these all meant. I also hear a lot of question regarding this topic, so I decided to post a little guide that can be easily accessed and viewed.

Here is the breakdown of the following rights.

    Full Rights (FR)
    Posting Rights (PR)
    Learning Rights (LR)
    Creator Rights (CR)

    Note before reading:
    Creator Rights (CR)
    -----------------------</span></span>
*These are the rights that the creator of the piece gets to keep even after selling Full Rights.

    You CAN:
    Learn from the PSD.
    Say you made it. (Anywhere)
Enter it into competitions. Ex. SOTW, LAOTM, etc. (Anywhere)
Post it on a site that suggests you made it. (Ex. deviantART.)
Wear it as your signature. (Anywhere)
    Rip layers from the PSD.

    You CAN'T:
    Sell it. (Anywhere)
Sell/Give away LR/PR to others. (See learning rights)

    Allowed:
<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE</div><div class=\'quotemain\'>Fred: I want to buy that tag FR please!
Greg: Ok, but I don't want this PSD given out to everyone, so I'm asking that you not give it away for LR/PR.
    Fred: Ok.[/b][/quote]

<span style="color:#00FF00">Fred can no longer give away PR/LR even though he has FR because the creator specified it.

If you have any problems or questions about rights, just PM one of the admins or mods and they'd be happy to assist you.
