First of all i think running through a basic tutorials.

    Background:
I can see that youv'e tried brushing a nice background, but the sharpness of the blue colour doesn't make it too visible.

    Render:
Its positioned ok , but is overblended a lot.

    Text:
Reasonable size, But hard to read.

    Overall:
I think that you shouldnt use bevel and emboss over your signature it self. Take more time when coloring the sig, (Soft light / overlay are useful). Add your render once you like the feel of your background. Position the render where you want most attention to be (Focal). Then just blend parts into the background. Keeping the Focal point nice and clear. Once your at this stage you will notice your sig is coming on nicely, and therefor you can add some nice text and a simple border.

Didnt want to go in too much detail yet as i think if you run through the basics first you will gain more skill.

    Thanks + Keep us posted.

Put the render on the top layer so it's not that hard to see. You usually want to keep the render clear. Also, the text is hard to read. I would suggest you read Wizard's Tutorial which can be found here.

    Major improvment mate.

Few tweaks and you'll be there. Render slightly over blended. The focal is a little dark (Face).
You can alter this by brushing white on a new layer and setting to softlight and altering the optacity if need be.
Text is an improvment but could still be better.

To create some depth create a new layer above all go to image > apply image. Then go to filter/blur/blur. Erase a few points.
Then go to Filter > Sharpen. (May need to play away with optacitiy).

Glad to see you keep us updated. GREAT improvement. Keep it up.

Once you master these steps you can then extend your design skills to higher level.

Aside from advice already given, I'd say to avoid using things like bevels on text to make them kinda 3d, it rarely works on sigs, take a look at most good tags and they go for nice plain fonts generally.

edit : Just saw the 2nd tag, great improvement man, carry on doing a few tuts then as you learn different techniques I'm sure you will develop your own style.
