I would suggest the Logitech G15. It's made to go along with the G5. I got it at Christmas and it's such a good keyboard.

I'm going to give you some crazy advice

    a keyboard is a keyboard.

the buttons wil press just as fast on a 10$ one as on a 100$ one.

slapping the word gaming on stuff instantly makes it sell for 50% more than it's work

    G15 is nice though.

mice matter, there is a tangible diference between a chep mouse and a decent one.

but keyboards haven't exactly progressed much in the last 20-30 years...

the g15 has that nifty LCD screen on it that will track when people join TS (if your in one), it will also track in game stats. such as Kills and deaths

Lol teamspeak overlay was made for that, and im sure in every game you can check your stats. So save 50% and do it your self.. as xelink said, mice matter, but not so much keyboards ;)

i have a $15 mouse that i call a gaming mouse, and a dell keyboard that came for free with a dell 2 years ago that i call a gaming keyboard. My mouse is accually pretty good...

G15 would be a nice keyboard to go along the g5

The only thing you need to worry about is the way the keyboard handles. I've used plenty of expensive-ish fancy looking logitech keyboards (but never actually owned one) and I've not liked one of them. I can't stand massive boards with oversized space bars and keys that are too easily depressed because I'm not used to them and find them harder to use. A keyboard bought for £5 at a computer fair will often serve you just as well as something that is £50 (!).

With that in mind, I would advise you to not buy online: you really ought to try it out before you use it since a keyboard with quite chunky keys is going to behave much differently to one that is more like a laptop keyboard. After all, it should be a personal decision, since no keyboard is particularly "more advanced" than another - just buy one you are comfortable with.

ebay is the only place I know. Or get a graphire. Not the top range, and only in A6 or A5, but I get by with a Graphire3 A6. It's fine.
EDIT: Secondly, some people say that you are paying for the brand, like you pay extra for an iPod, but in my experience, I've had one other tablet, and the driver messed up a lot and stuff.

to be honest, i have relatively little knowledge in the area of peripherals.

I was just nothing that the difference would be minute unless you needed the extra features.

it's your money, do whatever makes you happy, just remember, money in the bank is better than having none.

for keyboards and mice though, you really need to use and test the thing yourself, here it truly is a mater of preference(to a certain extent, there certainly are such things as ----ty keyboards)

for the record, here, the G15 is around $70usd, or 35-40GBP
