60's, 70's still alive?

Recently the more I look at the development of music through different years,
god knows why but im still living with the 60's/70's feel of music

The Yardbirds, Roxy Music, Rolling Stones the list can go on...
I believe the music has so much more soul to it, more joy comes out of the songs
its hard to really point out many bands that stand up to their predecessors
right?? no?

Err I love the Stones and the 80s had it going on as well but we gotta move on man, because that stuff isn't coming back anymore :cry:
