so with the dismantling of limewire and whatnot, i no longer have a place to get music by the means i prefer. i am having trouble finding a suitable program to replace limewire on my mac...any suggestions??

Im not saying you should do it. Because i always buy my music. But torrent or just google the album plus 'blogspot/rapidshare/mediafire'

Best way, download winrar (since most files on line are in a format that you need this), and google the band, song, artist, ect. and put mediafire after it. You should be able to find a lot.

It is LimeWire but with a better set up.
I use it for a song or two,I buy albums most of the time.

Can't believe someone still used Limewire in 2011. SWIM, would recommend googling the album name+mediafire/blog/rapidshare etc etc.

google it and put "rapidshare" "fileserve" "hotfile" to it. You should find something.
Torrent is still alive ??
Haven`t used it for Ages since it it started to be full of Trojans and Viruses....

im not to tech savvy an i dont understands .torrents haah but when it comes to easy music downloads i use youtube-mp3.org, its a simple youtube converter

If i were you I wouldn't use any p2p programs like frostwire ect.. You can use http://beemp3.com/ search what song you like click the download button, another page should open up and be broadcasting the song. Just click file, save page as > save it to your desktop then move it to your music file, or just save it strait to your music file

Why was limewire dismantled? I use shareaza for single music downloads, and bitcomment for albums.

I know this is dead, but an attempt to bring it back. I use file2hd.com, and download of youtube or other websites.
